During a brief cultural stop in Bishkek as part of his state visit, Vladimir Putin tried out the komuz, a traditional Kyrgyz three-stringed musical instrument, with a number of officials, including Alexander Lukashenka, attending the event.

The editorial office reports that during a promotional tour organized for the visiting delegation, the komuz's place in Kyrgyz musical heritage was showcased, and Putin attempted to play a few notes on the instrument before the meetings began.

Agreements in the fields of trade, education, migration, and security are expected to be signed as part of the visit, with these steps aimed at further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
