Investigations have commenced based on information received regarding the intentional destruction or damage of rocks in a reserve area located in the Buzovna settlement of Khazar district.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported that on March 23, illegal activities in the mentioned area were identified and stopped by police officers. Investigations determined that the illegal activities were organized by Alasgar Jafarov, born in 1978, and the removal of rocks was carried out using machinery operated by Tabriz Orujov, born in 1985.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Investigation Department of the Khazar District Police Department under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code regarding the incident, and A. Jafarov has been brought to justice.
Investigations are ongoing.
