As is known, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved new rules in accordance with the amendments made to the Law "On Labor Pensions". According to the new document, information specified in decisions regarding the appointment, refusal of appointment, recalculation, suspension, restoration, and transfer from one type to another type of labor pensions can be submitted or obtained through the Electronic Government Information System.
Member of Parliament Vugar Bayramov wrote about this on his social media account.
He noted that the submission of information specified in these decisions through the Electronic Government Information System is considered equivalent to the submission of those decisions: “The new rules will allow for more flexible decision-making regarding the appointment, refusal of appointment, recalculation, suspension, restoration, and transfer from one type to another type of pensions, and for the results to be shared in a shorter time. Considering that pensions are appointed proactively, these rules will particularly facilitate the processes of recalculating pensions and changing pension types.
The submission of information through the Electronic Government Information System will further enhance transparency. This is especially important in terms of data accessibility.”
V. Bayramov added that the new rules will not only expand digitalization in the pension sector but also increase accessibility to pensions: “This means new opportunities for pensioners who wish to change their pension type, as well as for those who intend to retire. Further digitalization of the pension recalculation system can also increase pension amounts in some cases.”
