The company has replaced the concept of "connectors" with the term "apps" and introduced new naming conventions according to functionalities.
Initially, the catalog includes apps such as Apple Music and DoorDash. Through these apps, users can create playlists, manage their libraries, and convert recipes into shopping lists. The functionalities of the Spotify app have also been expanded in the UK, Switzerland, and European Union countries.
OpenAI management has stated that interactions with apps can be used to improve models, depending on user settings. The company's CEO, Sam Altman, has assessed this step as an important milestone towards ChatGPT becoming a fully functional platform.
