The salaries of forensic experts will be increased.
The editorial office reports that this is reflected in the Concept for the Development of the Field of Forensic Examination in Azerbaijan for 2026-2030, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
The work to be done in the document is noted as follows:
- Preparation of proposals for increasing the number of staff units in forensic examination institutions, taking into account international experience and workload dynamics;
- Determination of the basic higher education fields required for the specialty of a forensic expert and taking measures to involve qualified personnel in these fields in forensic examination activities;
- Theoretical and practical training of forensic experts, as well as improvement of their knowledge and skills, and preparation of special training programs for this purpose;
- Preparation of proposals for strengthening the social protection of forensic experts, including increasing their salaries.
The implementation period for the increase in staff units and salaries has been set for 2026.
