11 Non-Working Days in March 2026 for Novruz and Ramadan Holidays

Non-working days in Azerbaijan related to official holidays in March 2026 have been announced.

The editorial office reports, citing Trend, that since March 8, International Women's Day, falls on a Sunday, March 9 will also be considered a non-working day.

Additionally, there will be extended rest periods in March due to Novruz Bayram and Ramadan Bayram.

In accordance with the Labor Code, additional rest days have been established due to holidays falling on Saturdays and Sundays.

Thus, March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 are considered non-working days for Novruz Bayram. Since March 21 and 22 fall on a Saturday and Sunday respectively, March 25 and 26 will also be considered non-working days.

As a result of Ramadan Bayram overlapping with Novruz days on March 20 and 21, March 27 and 30 will also be considered non-working days.

March 28 and 29 will also fall on a Saturday and Sunday of the week, respectively.

Consequently, March 25, 26, 27, and 30 will also be non-working days.

Thus, from March 20 to March 30 (inclusive of both days), there will be 11 consecutive non-working days in the country.
