Consistent measures are being taken by the Ministry of Justice to improve the quality of legal services provided to the population and to staff the notary corps with professional lawyers.
The Qualification Commission of the Ministry of Justice has announced the next open competition for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan with higher legal education who wish to obtain a certificate to professionally engage in notarial activities and meet the requirements of the Law "On Notaries".
The first stage of the competition – the test examination – will be conducted via computer together with the State Examination Center, and information on the results will be immediately provided to the candidates.
In accordance with the requirements of the legislation, candidates who score the required passing mark in the test examination will be admitted to the next stage – the interview. Lawyers who succeed in the interview will be involved in mandatory training at the Academy of Justice. Based on the results of the assessment conducted at the end of the training, a certificate for professionally engaging in notarial activities is issued.
Individuals wishing to participate in the examination can submit their documents from August 15 to September 15, 2025, until 18:00, to the Main Department of Notaries, Registration and Registry of the Ministry of Justice (Baku city, Azadlıq Avenue, 72) on all working days.
