Redaksiya reports that approximately 7 billion Norwegian kroner (593 million euros) allocated by the Norwegian government will be directed towards strengthening Ukraine's air defense systems. It is stated that these funds will be used specifically for the acquisition, repair, and maintenance of air defense systems. The Norwegian government aims to contribute to ensuring security in the region, in addition to supporting Ukraine. This step is considered a continuation of Norway's financial support to Ukraine.
This decision further increases the scale of Norway's support for Ukraine and backs efforts aimed at strengthening the country's defense capabilities. The Norwegian government has stated that it will continue to support international efforts to protect Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. This is also part of the European countries' strategy to support Ukraine.
