The Head of Neftchala District Executive Power held a field meeting with the residents of Yukhari Garamanli village.
The reception for citizens was attended by Mirhasan Seyidov, Head of Neftchala District Executive Power, responsible officials of the DEP, heads of law enforcement agencies, departments, enterprises and organizations, martyr families, veterans, and village residents.
First, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and military personnel who became martyrs during the defense of the territorial integrity, independence, and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence.
The representative for the Yukhari Garamanli village administrative territorial district delivered a speech, providing extensive information about Yukhari Garamanli village to the meeting participants.
The speakers provided detailed information to the participants on the topic: “President Ilham Aliyev’s resolute will continuously enhances our country’s international prestige and political weight.” It was stated that the achievements of Azerbaijan in the modern era, the trust and prestige gained by our state in the international arena, as well as the new realities formed in the region, are the result of the purposeful, farsighted, and principled policy of President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
Mirhasan Seyidov, Head of Neftchala District Executive Power, noted in his speech that in recent years, our country has further strengthened its position in the world community as a rapidly developing state distinguished by its political stability and economic potential. One of the main reasons for these successes is that President Ilham Aliyev’s state-building strategy is based on the national and moral values of the people, and on the protection and strengthening of independence.
The foreign policy course pursued under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev has significantly increased Azerbaijan’s international prestige, and our country is recognized as a reliable partner and a symbol of stability and development. Today, Azerbaijan actively and effectively cooperates with the UN, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Organization of Turkic States, and other influential international organizations, contributing to the strengthening of global dialogue and cooperation by hosting international events.
The Head of the DEP noted that thanks to President Ilham Aliyev’s resolute stance, our country achieved a historic Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, restoring its territorial integrity and sovereignty. This significant victory is the result not only of military strength but also of diplomatic skill, national unity, and strong leadership. In the post-war period, large-scale restoration and construction works are being carried out in the liberated territories at the initiative of the head of state, and the Great Return process is being successfully implemented.
Azerbaijan’s peace initiatives in the post-conflict period, steps taken towards opening regional communications and creating cooperation platforms, are clear examples of our country’s peace-loving policy and constructive approach.

The Head of the DEP stated that against the backdrop of new geopolitical realities emerging in the region after the 44-day Patriotic War, which concluded with Victory, the continuation of Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev’s concept of restoring historical justice is to ensure the Great Return of internally displaced persons and refugees. He also spoke about the importance of the mission to restore the national-moral values and rights of the Azerbaijani people.
He emphasized that Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev gave serious instructions in this regard during his meeting with members of the Western Azerbaijan Community. He also noted that the position demonstrated by the country’s leader towards restoring the rights of the Azerbaijani people and recognizing the rights of the Western Azerbaijan Community at an international level places serious tasks before historians and legal scholars.
The Head of Neftchala DEP informed the meeting participants about the reconstruction works carried out in Neftchala district.
During the field reception, citizens raised requests regarding assistance with irrigation of agricultural and household plots, re-employment of employees whose contracts expired at DOST LLC, combating foot-and-mouth disease spreading among animals in the area, including martyr families in the housing queue, and other issues. Citizens' appeals were heard individually, issues were discussed, and relevant instructions were given for their resolution.
Citizens expressed their gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and First Vice-President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva for the high attention and care shown, as well as for the landscaping and construction works carried out in the district.
