Regular urban bus routes numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 in Nakhchivan city are being put out for tender.
The editorial office reports this, citing the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
According to the information, the competition is organized in accordance with the Law "On Road Transport" and the "Regulation on the Competition for the Involvement of Carriers in Regular Urban (Intra-district), Intercity (Inter-district), and International Route Passenger Transportation" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' decision dated April 3, 2009.
Documents will be accepted at AYNA (Address: 5 Hacı Məmmədov Street, Baku city; Contact person: Anar Məmmədov (Mob: 077-455-99-06, e-mail: anar.mammadov@ayna.gov.az)) until 5:00 PM on February 3.
In addition to the main buses, reserve vehicles must also be presented for the competition.
The commission will review the bidders' proposals for urban bus routes No. 1 (Əliabad settlement – Yeni Nakhchivan residential area), No. 2 (Tumbul village - Entertainment Island), No. 3 (Olympic Sports Complex), and No. 4 ("Araz" Production Association - Əliabad settlement) in 4 lots on February 17; and for urban bus routes No. 5 (Electrical Substation - Carpet Weaving Factory), No. 6 (Babək city - Victory Park), No. 7 (Qaraçuq village - "Cahan" Trade Center), No. 8 (Xəlilli village - "Cahan" Trade Center), and No. 9 (State Service for Real Estate Affairs - Yeni Nakhchivan residential area) in 5 lots on February 20.
Intercity (inter-district) and urban (intra-district) route lines are submitted for tender in a phased manner in accordance with the requirements of the legislation. The goal is to increase the quality, safety, and comfort of services provided in the passenger transportation sector.
