A delegation led by Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), will visit Moldova to observe the parliamentary elections to be held in the country on September 28, 2025.
The CEC informed Redaksiya about this.
It was noted that this visit, carried out at the official invitation of Anjelica Caraman, Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission of Moldova, is also of great importance for further strengthening cooperation between the supreme election bodies of the two countries.
It was stated that within the framework of the visit, M. Panahov is expected to meet with his Moldovan counterpart, as well as other officials, and discussions will be held on the prospects for developing long-term cooperation between election management bodies, opportunities for expanding mutual experience exchange, and other issues of interest in the field of election organization and administration.
The delegation will familiarize themselves with the general preparation processes for the parliamentary elections until voting day and will also observe voting procedures at polling stations in the capital Chisinau on election day.
