Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis sent a veiled message to Turkey. He stated that Athens wants to establish good relations with Ankara, but the path to progress is through dialogue, not through the language of weapons.

The editorial office reports that in his speech, Mitsotakis recalled the progress Greece has made in the field of defense since 2019. According to him, the country's Air Force has already received 42 modernized F-16 fighters and 24 Rafale aircraft. He noted that the first F-35 fighters are expected in 2028.

The Prime Minister also stated that Greece will receive its first Belharra-class frigates in the coming months. He emphasized that this process has elevated the country's defense capabilities to a new level.
