A two-day training titled "Storytelling": New Narratives and Current Trends in Modern Publicistics, organized jointly by the Azerbaijan Development Agency of Media and ADA University, has concluded for media representatives.

The main goal of the training was to inform media representatives about "storytelling," which shapes a journalist's individual style as a creative personality by combining new methods of expressing ideas in a more agile and modern form, influencing people's thoughts as a phenomenon of public opinion. Within the framework of the training, current topics such as the possibility of expressing new content with a traditional writing style, the transformation of publicistic style into hypertext, and the dynamic forms and increased attractiveness of column writing were discussed. It was noted that mastering the current international trend of "storytelling," and in a broader sense, modern narratology theories, is of great importance for the correct and understandable expression of ideas in all forms of text, speech, and narration in general, and for increasing their social impact.

Within the framework of the training held on December 9-10, sessions were organized for media representatives on "Features of Publicistic Style: Genres of Artistic Publicistics," "Storytelling": Forms of Use in Media, Traditional and New Writing Methods," "Narrative Theory: Basic Principles and Directions (Lecture and Simulation)," as well as "Workshop: Strengthening Theoretical Knowledge."

Finally, certificates were presented to the training participants.
