Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has described the US president's threats to the world via social media as irresponsible.
The editorial office reports that Lula, answering journalists' questions, stated: “It is not responsible behavior for the leader of a great country like the United States to speak in a threatening tone via social media. The world has changed. We are no longer subjects of an empire, but independent and sovereign nations. If he imposes customs duties, others can take the same step against him.”
The Brazilian leader emphasized the importance of mutual respect and fair relations in global politics.
