The third "YAŞAT" summer school continues in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, organized by the "YAŞAT" Fund, sponsored by "NEQSOL Holding", "Norm" OJSC, and "Bakcell", and partnered by "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC.
The main goal is to broaden the worldview, knowledge, and skills of martyrs' children, ensure their active participation in cultural exchange, support them in spending their time productively, and help them make new acquaintances and friendships.
The summer school is held at University College London, and first, participants took a placement test to assess their English language proficiency. Afterwards, they attended 3-hour English language lessons daily.
In addition to the academic program, a rich excursion program is also organized. The participants' tour began with a visit to "Big Ben", considered a symbol of London, and continued with Westminster Abbey and the Palace of Westminster. Subsequently, participants visited St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tate Modern museum, one of the world's most visited museums, showcasing national and international modern art. The Millennium Bridge, the newest bridge built over the River Thames, and the historic Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, and Madame Tussauds museum also captured their interest.
It should be noted that the participants of the summer school include 10 children of martyrs who achieved the most successful results in the 9th-grade graduation exam in our country.
