US Secretary of State Marko Rubio stated in Washington that work needs to be done on resolving the Lebanon-Israel conflict, taking into account "decades of history and complexities." He noted that resolving this issue requires serious efforts.

The editorial office reports that, according to the Secretary, the main goal in the future is to end "Hizbullah's" 20-30 year influence in the Middle East. Rubio also expressed his hope that the talks would be a long-term process.

The US Secretary of State emphasized that all the complexities of this issue will not be resolved within the next six hours. However, he added that the ongoing talks will help lay a solid foundation for future progress in resolving the conflict.
