Trainings covering civil law and civil procedure topics were held for judges in the city of Lankaran, organized by the Ministry of Justice with the joint support of the Judicial-Legal Council and the Supreme Court. The trainings were conducted by Professor Azar Aliyev from Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in Germany and Professor Konstantin Branovitski, head of the University's Legal Technologies Laboratory.
The trainings were organized with the aim of developing judges as trainers and subsequently enhancing the knowledge and skills of other judges, as well as judicial candidates, through them. 19 judges from various instances participated in the 5-day trainings.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Justice conducts initial long-term training for judicial candidates and continuous education for judges to staff the judiciary in our country, ensure the judicial power is provided with professional judges, and continuously improve the training of judges in this regard.
