Dmitry Peskov, press secretary for the Russian President, commented on a possible meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
The editorial office reports that Peskov noted that a potential meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky could be the final stage in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
"This meeting could both put an end to the process and formalize the agreements reached," Peskov stated. He added, however, that completing such a complex process in just 30 days does not seem realistic.
It should be recalled that earlier, the Ukrainian side had proposed holding an international summit with the participation of Putin and Zelensky in August. There is currently no official agreement regarding the format or specific location of the meeting.
