The Financial Times writes that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's position remains unchanged — Kyiv will only be ready for the next stages of the peace process after a ceasefire is secured. In the document prepared by the Ukrainian authorities, this is presented as an initial step leading to a full-scale peace agreement.

The editorial office reports that the document notes the signing of large-scale agreements with the US in exchange for security guarantees. Thus, Kyiv will acquire weapons worth $100 billion from Washington. At the same time, it is reported that Ukrainian companies will sign a $50 billion contract with the US for the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the information, Ukraine also insists on receiving compensation from Russia for the conflict. This issue will be put forward as one of Kyiv's main demands in future negotiations.
