Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, has sent a harsh message to US President Donald Trump.
According to the editorial office, Medvedev, referring to Trump's past “indiscretions,” urged him not to think that compromising materials about him are only in the hands of Israel's intelligence service, Mossad.
“Trump should not assume that the video archive of his past indiscretions is exclusively held by Mossad,” Medvedev said.
This statement by Medvedev is regarded as an indicator of the escalating tension between the two politicians and the entry of mutual accusations into a new phase in recent days. Trump's harsh stance on Russia, especially the steps he has taken in the context of the Ukraine conflict, has caused serious dissatisfaction in Moscow.
