Ongoing forest fires in various regions of Spain have led to a tragedy.
The editorial office reports that so far, 7 people have lost their lives in fires occurring at 14 separate points across the country. According to official statements, a total of 157,000 hectares of land have turned to ash.
Thousands of firefighters and military personnel have been mobilized to prevent the spread of the fires. Windy and dry weather conditions significantly complicate extinguishing efforts. Due to the scale of the incident, the declaration of a state of emergency in the regions is not ruled out.
