A US Air Force F-35 fighter jet has been shot down in Iranian airspace.
"Qafqazinfo" reports that Iran's state television announced this.
The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces announced that the aircraft crashed after being shot down. It is claimed that the likelihood of the crew members ejecting is low.
Images of debris, allegedly belonging to the aircraft, have been circulated on social media.
