A significant amount of goods, attempted to be brought into the country by a distribution method, bypassing customs control and customs duties, has been discovered.
The State Customs Committee (SCC) released information about this.
It was reported that an Azerbaijani citizen arriving on a Jeddah-Baku flight was detained while receiving 5 "iPhone 17s", 4 "iPhone 16s", 15 "Apple" brand pens, 8 "Apple" brand headphones, and 5 perfumes that he had distributed to other passengers.
The State Customs Committee once again informs citizens traveling abroad that items taken from unknown individuals in foreign countries may lead to legal responsibility when crossing the customs border.
An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
