Elon Musk's new messenger XChat has been launched on iPhone devices. Experts call this application Telegram's first real competitor. According to expectations, the messenger will cause serious competition in the market.
The editorial office reports that XChat offers a number of important features. These features include full privacy with end-to-end encryption, direct integration of the Grok neural network, prohibition of screenshots, secret chats with any interlocutor, messages that disappear after five minutes, and ad-free use. Additionally, it is possible to make video and audio calls without being linked to a phone number, and to send any documents, files, photos, and videos. The application allows creating group chats for up to 500 users. Registration can be done via an X account, which eliminates the need for a phone number. Currently, Elon Musk's messenger is only available on the iOS platform, but an Android version is planned to be released later.
However, there are some details regarding XChat's availability. For instance, the messenger has not yet been launched in the Russian App Store. Nevertheless, it can already be tested in countries such as Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the USA, and Germany.
