Elon Musk has announced that he is preparing to launch a new artificial intelligence chatbot designed for children — Baby Grok. This comes immediately after the launch of Grok 4 and amidst criticism over inappropriate content in previous versions.
The editorial team reports that Musk revealed this initiative on the X platform. He stated that Baby Grok will be a separate application and will only provide child-appropriate, safe, and educational content.
The new chatbot will be developed as a simplified version of Grok, and its main goal is to ensure safe and educational use for children.
It is worth noting that the launch of Grok 4 also includes advanced AI training capabilities. However, previous versions had come under scrutiny for antisemitic remarks and flirtatious responses in "child mode."
Musk also noted that Grok may start discovering new and useful technologies in the coming months.
The transition to this tool for children is a significant change. However, gaining parents' trust will not be easy, because safety is not just an additional feature — it must be at the foundation of the system.
