The new model takes another step closer to AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) with thinking capabilities that surpass human level and physical simulations.
The editorial office reports that billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has introduced the fourth version of the Grok artificial intelligence model. He characterized Grok 4 as “the first artificial intelligence capable of answering difficult engineering questions not found on the internet or in books”. Musk stated that this model has created a new level in all areas compared to its competitors.
The main innovations introduced by Musk are:
• Grok 4 has 10 times better analysis and reasoning capabilities than the previous version
• Performs above doctoral level in every field
• Proved its proximity to AGI by scoring 44.4% on the "Humanity’s Last Exam" test
• Can fully simulate black hole collisions via a browser
• Can predict sports results simply by scanning Polymarket
• Can manage businesses autonomously and shows six times more effective results than humans
• The new voice model “Eve” can speak in a realistic human-like tone, whisper, and even sing
• A special “coding model” is being developed exclusively for programmers
• Can create shooter-style games in just a few hours, pulling 3D models from the network and covering them with textures
Musk added that Grok 4 is also capable of making new discoveries in the field of physics this year. This level of development of the model has created a serious wave of competition among technology giants like OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic.
