On February 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Nechirvan Barzani, the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, in Munich.
During the conversation, Nechirvan Barzani's visits to Azerbaijan, as well as his meetings with the head of state, were recalled with satisfaction, and it was noted that all of this created good opportunities for discussing the prospects of cooperation.
The President of Azerbaijan and the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region exchanged views on the development of relations in economic, trade, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, and discussed issues of mutual interest.
The head of state invited Nechirvan Barzani to visit our country. The head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region gladly accepted the invitation.
