Public Television (ITV) is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The editorial office reports that ITV began its operations on August 29, 2005.
During its 20 years of activity, the TV channel has undergone significant development, launched numerous interesting projects, and successfully earned the affection of its viewers.
Serving the interests of Azerbaijani citizens, the television continues its efforts to protect national-spiritual values and promote pluralism. Compared to other TV channels broadcasting in the country, ITV has today justified the trust placed in it and fulfilled all expectations.
Public Television has pursued a completely different program policy in Azerbaijan's rich and diverse broadcasting space, adhering to public broadcasting principles. For instance, prestigious sporting events such as the European Football Championship, Olympic, and Paralympic Games have been broadcast on ITV. The channel also acquires and dubs globally popular series, presenting them to viewers.
All films and animated films broadcast on ITV are aired under license.
During the 44-day Patriotic War, Public Television was also at the forefront of the information war.
In the new season, ITV will continue to surprise, inform, and educate its viewers.
