The method for calculating compulsory health insurance fees for individuals working in the non-state and non-oil-gas sectors has been changed.
This was announced by Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, at a press conference regarding the results of 2025 and future goals.
He stated that the employer will calculate 2% from the portion of the employee's salary up to 2500 manats and 0.5% from the portion exceeding 2500 manats. Similarly, the employee will have 2% calculated from the portion of their salary up to 2500 manats and 0.5% from the portion exceeding 2500 manats.
The Chairman of the Board recalled that this amount was previously 8000 manats.
