The Turkic world unites today.
The newsroom reports that Hikmət Hacıyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, stated this on November 24 at the Solidarity Forum of NGOs of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States held in Baku.
“The coming together of non-governmental organizations and civil society institutions, which are an important component and driving force of interpersonal contacts, lays the foundation for this cooperation and creates a strong basis for future activities,” he noted.
He added that Azerbaijan has multifaceted cooperation within the framework of TDT:
“There are various formats that bring together state organizations across 34 directions, but such a format uniting non-governmental organizations had not existed until now. Today, we can say with great satisfaction that the foundation of this format is being created together with non-governmental organizations and civil society organizations, which bring the Turkic world together and are an important component and driving force of interpersonal contacts,” Hikmət Hacıyev stated.
