The “Move, Feel, Progress – Change with Capoeira!” project continues to contribute to the physical and social development of students!

The main goal of the “Move, Feel, Progress – Change with Capoeira!” project, which is aimed at applying innovative and inclusive approaches in education, is to increase students' physical activity, develop their body coordination, flexibility, and rhythmic movement skills, as well as strengthen important life skills such as social communication, teamwork, and self-confidence.

Within the framework of the project, training sessions were organized based on Capoeira techniques. A total of 20 students participated in the training sessions, and the process was structured systematically, targeting both physical and socio-emotional development.

The training program included physical warm-up and flexibility exercises, Capoeira techniques (ginga, rasteira, negativa, etc.), rhythmic movements, and group games. Additionally, interactive tasks were implemented to support students' socio-emotional development, fostering skills such as respect, coordination, self-expression, and cooperation.

As a result of the training sessions conducted during the project, positive changes were observed in students' physical fitness levels, as well as in their social behavior and communication skills.

Following the completion of the training, a special event is planned at the school for students to demonstrate their acquired knowledge and skills, along with a project closing ceremony.

It should be noted that the project is being implemented by Aliya Akbarova, a teacher at Special Education School No. 268 in Nasimi district, within the framework of the IX Grant Competition for Development and Innovations in Education by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
