Who is Adnan Ahmadzada?
Adnan Azer oglu Ahmadzada was born on January 24, 1978, in Baku. Since 2023, he has been the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ABDA Invest Holding”. The holding unites companies operating in construction, logistics and transportation solutions, agriculture, supermarket chains, and cinema.
Education
Adnan Ahmadzada graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1998 and received his master's degree from Western University in 2000.
Career
From 1998 to 2005, he worked at SOCAR's Department of Foreign Economic Relations (later Marketing and Economic Operations). From 2005 to 2006, he served as the General Director of “Azertrans” LLC.
From 2006 to 2019, he held various leadership positions at SOCAR's Department of Marketing and Economic Operations:
Deputy Head of Transport and Expedition Department (2006–2007)
Head of Commercial Risks in Trading Operations Department (2007–2008)
Deputy Head of Economic Operations Department (2008–2010)
General Director of Marketing and Economic Operations Department (2010–2019)
In 2018, he was appointed Executive Director of SOCAR Trading, and in 2019, Deputy Vice President for Investments and Marketing at SOCAR.

Since 2023, Adnan Ahmadzada has served as the honorary president of the Azerbaijan Koshiki Karate-do Federation.

Adnan Ahmadzada is married and has four children. One interesting point is his family friendship with world-famous footballer Lionel Messi. He played a significant role in organizing Messi's visit to Azerbaijan.
