Hamlet Musayev's Daughter Arrested

The daughter of Hamlet Musayev, former deputy head of the Ministry of Justice's Forensic Examination Center, has been arrested.

According to information obtained by “Qafqazinfo”, M. Musayeva is accused of defrauding an individual of more than half a million manats.

The initial indictment states that M. Musayeva deceived Ü. Guliyeva, whom she knew previously, with the promise of doing work. For this purpose, together with other individuals with whom she colluded, she received a total of 610,000 manats from the victim.

An investigation was launched after Ü. Guliyeva filed a complaint with the police department.

According to the complainant, M. Musayeva used the names of her close relatives holding high positions while engaging in illegal activities. This created additional trust in the victim.

Although the accused initially evaded the investigation, she was apprehended by police officers in a short period.

She has been charged under Article 178.4 of the Criminal Code (fraud, particularly on a large scale), and by court decision, a 3-month pre-trial detention measure has been chosen against her.

It is currently reported that there are other complainants against the accused.

It should be noted that M. Musayeva's father, Hamlet Musayev, worked in the justice system for many years. He also served as acting head of the Ministry of Justice's Forensic Examination Center for a period.
