On July 30, 2025, a forum titled “A Look at the Business World with Youth: Through the Eyes of Human Resources” was held at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, organized by the Youth Development and Career Center, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijan HR Institute.
The main goal of the forum was to prepare young people for the labor market by bringing them together with professional HRs, to instill the skills and approaches essential for their success in professional life, and to provide networking opportunities.
At the opening of the event, TV presenter Kubra Fərəczadə greeted the participants. Subsequently, the essence and importance of the forum were highlighted through official speeches. Among the speakers at the opening ceremony were Ramil Cabbarov, Head of the Department for Work with Youth of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Pərviz Mirələmli, Head of the Internal Control and Monitoring Department of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Azər Əliyev, General Director of the Youth Development and Career Center; and Emil Hüseynov, founder and director of the Azerbaijan HR Institute.
Within the framework of the forum, a panel discussion on “Career and 21st Century Skills” was held. Emil Hüseynov, acting as moderator, shared his thoughts on the changing demands and future trends of the labor market. As speakers on the panel were Fidan Hüseynova, Head of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Department at “PAŞA Bank”; Günel Binnətli, Head of Human Resources at “Demir Cargo”; Esmira İbrahimova, Human Resources Director at “AzTelco Group”; and Lətifə Nəsibova, an education and career expert, who participated and shared their experiences.
The discussions touched upon topics such as career planning for youth, key points to consider during the recruitment process, and the opportunities and challenges awaiting young people in the labor market. In the Q&A session held at the end of the panel, participants had the opportunity to address their questions directly to the experts.
In the practical part of the forum, a training on CV writing and interview preparation was conducted by Samira Mammadova, Head of the Recruitment Department of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC. The interview simulation organized after the training provided participants with the opportunity to experience the recruitment process in a realistic manner.
The “A Look at the Business World with Youth” forum enabled young people to be better prepared for the business world, to network by establishing direct contact with professionals in the HR field, and to approach their future career goals more professionally.
