A flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, which included hundreds of Palestinian supporters, among them environmental activist Greta Thunberg, returned to Barcelona due to strong Mediterranean winds, according to organizers. This event was the result of an initiative aimed at delivering humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and drawing attention to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Redaksiya reports that the flotilla, consisting of approximately 20 ships, had departed from Barcelona, Spain, on Sunday with the aim of "opening a humanitarian corridor and stopping the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people." However, due to strong winds and unfavorable weather conditions in the Mediterranean Sea, the ships were unable to continue their planned route. Organizers stated that they decided to turn back to ensure the safety of the vessels. Although the return of the flotilla hindered humanitarian aid delivery efforts, it is seen as an opportunity to draw attention to the plight of the Palestinian people.

This incident once again highlights the difficulties of delivering humanitarian aid to Palestinian territories and draws the international community's attention to this issue. Organizers stated that they will prepare new plans for humanitarian aid delivery in the future and will continue their efforts in this direction.
