A handwritten message from former US President Bill Clinton has been revealed in a birthday notebook prepared in 2003 for Jeffrey Epstein, who died while imprisoned on charges of sexual abuse and human trafficking.

The Wall Street Journal reported this information. According to documents obtained by the publication, the birthday notebook was prepared by Ghislaine Maxwell, with whom Epstein had a close relationship at the time, and contained personal letters from various prominent individuals.

Clinton's message consists of a short handwritten paragraph. It praises Epstein's sense of curiosity and desire to make a difference, which he maintained over the years:
To learn and to know, to endure for so long through years full of adventure, and moreover, to maintain a childlike curiosity, a desire to create change, and the ability to console his friends – doesn't this inspire confidence?

Clinton's spokesperson declined to comment on this message, but reiterated a previously issued statement: Clinton's relationship with Epstein was not related to his 2019 arrest, and he was unaware of these crimes.

Trump's Side Rejects Claims

“The Wall Street Journal” reports that the notebook contains letters from approximately 60 people. Among the individuals named are Donald Trump, fashion designer Vera Wang, investor Leon Black, and media mogul Mort Zuckerman. However, Trump's spokesperson, Caroline Leavitt, denied this information, stating: “This is a fabricated story by WSJ about a letter the President never wrote.”

Epstein Cases Back in the Spotlight

Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on charges of sexually abusing numerous underage girls and was found dead in 2019 at the Manhattan correctional facility in New York. According to the official statement, the cause of death was suicide. However, a portion of the public claims it was a covered-up murder.

WSJ also recalled individuals such as Prince Andrew, Kevin Spacey, Alan Dershowitz, and David Copperfield, whose names were previously mentioned in Epstein's documents. In the current investigations, no concrete evidence regarding his “client list” has yet been obtained.
