During his business trip to Turkmenistan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze on December 11th.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that A. Asadov conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the Prime Minister of Georgia.
I. Kobakhidze expressed his gratitude for President Ilham Aliyev's greetings and requested that he convey his own greetings to the head of state of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the development of the Azerbaijan-Georgia strategic partnership in trade-economic, investment, transport-transit, oil-gas, green energy, humanitarian, and other areas.
Particular attention was paid to current issues on the agenda of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
