A meeting was held between Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, and Kobuljon Axmedov, Director of the Content Production Center for Mass Media under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the 7th meeting of responsible ministers and high-ranking officials of the Organization of Turkic States on media and information.
It is reported that at the meeting, Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, stated that cooperation in the media sector between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has entered a new, more strategic phase within the framework of the OTS. He emphasized that expanding information exchange between the two countries, strengthening partnerships among media institutions, and implementing joint projects lay the foundation for the sustainable development of this cooperation. It was particularly noted that the implementation of the "Roadmap for the Development of Media Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan" has elevated mutual activities to a more systematic, planned, and institutional level.
Kobuljon Axmedov, Director of the Content Production Center for Mass Media under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, noted that cooperation in the media sector is an integral part of the strategic partnership between the two countries. He stated that expanding relations between Azerbaijani and Uzbek media institutions, organizing joint projects, and strengthening cooperation in professional personnel training will make a significant contribution to further deepening the partnership in this field between the two countries.
During the meeting, a broad exchange of views took place on future cooperation directions and joint projects.
