The position of director has been created within the media outlet.
Aflatun Amashov, the newspaper's editor-in-chief, has been appointed to this position.
He will henceforth hold the positions of both director and editor-in-chief of "Xalq qəzeti".
It should be noted that the founder of "Xalq qəzeti" is the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
A. Amashov was born on April 26, 1957, in the village of Fakhrali, Bolnisi district, Georgia. From 1985 to 1994, he worked at the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) as a correspondent, department head, editor, editor-in-chief, and first deputy director-general. From 2003 to 2022, he served as the chairman of the Press Council Board. He was a deputy of the 5th convocation of the Milli Majlis. (Yenisabah)
