An oath-taking ceremony was held for young soldiers called up for active military service at the Guard Regiment of the Ministry of Justice's Penitentiary Service.
After the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played at the ceremony, the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan was brought to the center of the square to the sounds of a military march, bouquets of flowers were laid at the monument of martyrs, and their dear memory was honored with a minute of silence.
After the young soldiers solemnly took the Military Oath, the congratulations and recommendations of the Minister of Justice, Farid Akhmadov, were conveyed to the young soldiers.
At the oath-taking ceremony, the young soldiers, who swore allegiance to the Motherland, the people, and the state, stated that they would always be ready for the order of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, and would maintain discipline.
Finally, a solemn march-past of the personnel was observed to the sounds of a march.
