An increase in traffic intensity is expected on republican roads, as well as those leading to tourism and recreational areas, during the consecutive non-working days associated with holidays and weekends.
The editorial office reports that this was stated in an appeal made by the Main State Traffic Police Department to road users regarding the non-working days.
It was stated that for these reasons, drivers are requested to choose their speed according to road and weather conditions, not to drive if they have health problems, or if they are tired or sleepy, to maintain a safe distance, and to avoid risky overtaking maneuvers.
"In addition, they should strictly adhere to the requirements of traffic rules and pay attention to the technical condition of their vehicles before setting off on a journey," the appeal emphasized.
