The implementation of Decree No. 718 of the President of the country "On measures for the creation of the "Government Cloud" (G-cloud) and the provision of "cloud" services" continues.

As part of the decree's implementation, another state institution - the State Tourism Agency - has migrated its information systems to the "Government Cloud". The agency's main digital resources have been placed in the Baku Data Center owned by "AzInTelecom" LLC, one of the AZCON Holding companies. "AzInTelecom" has provided the Agency with "Virtual server – IaaS" (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) and "Backup – BaaS" (Backup-as-a-Service) "cloud" services. As a result, the institution has obtained a more resilient and accessible IT infrastructure for its critical systems.

Within the framework of the "Government Cloud" project, state institutions are carrying out the full or partial migration of their IT systems to the Baku Main and Yevlakh Reserve Data Centers owned by "AzInTelecom". As a result, the current IT expenses of the institutions decrease, and the productivity of information systems increases. Improved information security, a resilient IT infrastructure, quality service provision, and 24/7 monitoring services are achieved.

"AzInTelecom" is the first institution in the South Caucasus region to obtain the "TIER III" certificate, which defines international standards for "cloud" services.
