Two individuals accused of human trafficking have been arrested.

As a result of measures taken by the Main Department for Combating Human Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 28-year-old E.Q. and 27-year-old X.H., accused of human trafficking, have been arrested.

E.Q. is accused of committing the crime of human trafficking by subjecting female citizens of the country to sexual exploitation. He lured these women to Turkey under the pretext of finding them jobs. Subsequently, the victims were kept under control through threats and coercion, their national passports were confiscated, and they were subjected to sexual exploitation for money.

X.H., also accused of human trafficking, entered into criminal contact with foreign nationals whose identities are being investigated, and lured women into prostitution for money via the “escortazofficial” Telegram page and the “escortaze.com” website. When the victims wanted to leave this platform, he threatened to disseminate compromising photos and information about them, thereby subjecting them to sexual exploitation.

Investigations revealed that X.H. sent a portion of the money obtained through criminal means, in the form of cryptocurrency, to other members of a transnational criminal group located in one of the foreign countries.

Based on the collected evidence, criminal cases were initiated, and E.Q. and X.H. were brought in for investigation as accused persons, and by court decision, a pre-trial detention measure of 4 months was chosen for them.

“We once again appeal to citizens and inform them that victims of human trafficking crimes can contact the Main Department for Combating Human Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the 152 hotline. The confidentiality of those who apply is fully guaranteed,” the statement emphasized.
