MIA issues another appeal concerning bank cards

"In a period where cases of interference with bank cards are increasing, every citizen should be more cautious."

The editorial office reports that this was stated by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The MIA has once again issued an appeal in this regard, urging citizens to adhere to simple security rules.

The information emphasizes the following:

— Do not answer every call. Calls from unknown numbers often aim for fraud.

— Do not reply to every SMS. Messages like "You've won a bonus", "Your account has been blocked", "Make an urgent payment" can be a trap.

— Do not click on every link. Fake websites are designed to steal your card information.

— Do not share personal information. PIN, CVV, 16-digit card numbers, and SMS codes belong only to you.

"No bank employee who calls you will ask for your personal card details. If you notice anything suspicious, immediately inform your bank and the police," the information states.
