As a result of measures carried out by employees of the Main Customs Department for Air Transport, an attempt to illegally bring medicinal products into the country was prevented.
According to information provided to the Editorial Board by the State Customs Committee, two foreign citizens arriving on a Delhi-Baku flight were subjected to customs inspection. During the inspection of both individuals' luggage and hand luggage, a total of 72 units of oncological medicinal products, which had not been declared to the customs authority, were discovered.
An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
