Michael Truell, the CEO of Cursor, stated that the company has achieved the creation of a fully functional browser in a short period. According to him, this process was made possible by the large-scale coordination of artificial intelligence-based agents, and the project was carried out continuously.

The editorial reports that Michael Truell announced that hundreds of GPT-5.2 agents are working simultaneously directly on the Cursor platform and have been operating non-stop for 1 week. According to the CEO's statement, the artificial intelligence agents built the browser from scratch, and the process continued without human intervention.

It was noted in the announcement that over 3 million lines of code were written within the project framework, thousands of files were created, and the browser's rendering engine was completely rebuilt in the Rust programming language. Simultaneously, the processing mechanisms for HTML and CSS content were also developed by the agents.

According to the information, this approach can fundamentally change the concept of software development. In Truell's opinion, the main issue is no longer writing code, but managing systems composed of artificial intelligence agents that work continuously and do not require rest.
