The "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on Mutual Exemption of Visa Requirements for Holders of Ordinary Passports," signed during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to China in April, entered into force on July 16.
The editorial office reports that, according to the agreement, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan holding valid ordinary passports and citizens of the People's Republic of China holding valid ordinary passports are exempted from visa requirements for entry into, exit from, and transit through the territory of the other country for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days per visit and not exceeding a total of ninety (90) days within any one hundred eighty (180) day period.
