Jeff Bezos stated that despite the increasing role of artificial intelligence in the labor market, human creativity is still the main driving force of technological development. He emphasized that the ability to create new ideas will remain one of the most important skills of the future.
The editorial office reports that Bezos said the only type of worker that artificial intelligence will never be able to replace are those with the ability to invent. According to him, innovation is the foundation of every development, and curious, risk-taking minds are the main source of technological progress.
In an interview, Bezos recalled a summer when he and his father reassembled a bulldozer on their family farm in Texas without anyone's help. The businessman said they had to create their own tools to remove the gearbox, noting that the experience taught him that challenges are opportunities for creative thinking.
Calling himself a “born inventor,” he said that the ability to quickly form an idea played a significant role in his career. Bezos also stated that he looks for the same creative spark in candidates applying to his companies and always asks the question, “Tell me about something you've invented,” in interviews.
