The State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population assigned disability to 36.2 thousand people during January-August 2025.

It was stated that of them, 16.2 thousand people received initial disability assignments, and 20 thousand people received re-assignments for disability.
It should be noted that the assessment of disability is carried out through an electronic system, based on the information in the referrals entered into the e-system by healthcare institutions. After the disability assignment, social payments for disability are proactively assigned through the e-system.
