Additional leave for pregnancy and childbirth will be established.
This is reflected in the Law on Amendments to the Labor Code, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the law, the duration of the prenatal part of maternity leave will be extended with payment for the days that pass from the expected delivery date until the child's birth, and in this case, the postnatal part of the leave will not be shortened.
